In a commendable initiative that blended education, environmental awareness, and parental engagement, St. Maurice Boys High School organized a Tree Planting Exercise during the recent Parents’ Academic Meeting.
Parents, students, teachers, and school staff came together in a spirit of unity and shared responsibility to plant trees within the school compound. This meaningful activity served as a practical lesson in environmental conservation and sustainability, while also strengthening the important partnership between the school and parents.
The tree planting exercise symbolized growth, hope, and a commitment to a greener future. Participants planted various tree species that will not only beautify the school environment but also contribute to climate change mitigation and provide long-term environmental benefits to the Kiminini community.
This initiative highlighted St. Anne’s Group of Schools’ dedication to nurturing responsible citizens who care for God’s creation. It was a powerful demonstration of how academic meetings can go beyond academics to promote values such as Stewardship, Service, and Nurturing — key pillars of our STANNES core values.
