St. Maurice Boys High School is the Junior and Senior Boys section of St. Anne’s Group of Schools Kiminini. We provide specialized education for boys aged 16–18, preparing them for university, tertiary institutions, or direct entry into the workforce.

With great delight and honor, I welcome you to St. Maurice Senior and Junior Boys School “Centre Of Excellence.”
In St. Maurice Senior and Junior Boys School, it is our deep-held conviction that for education to be relevant, it must prepare learners to face uncertain futures, and create a just and sustainable world. That means producing successful men, able to make a difference in their community and have greater impact globally. We achieve this through our three-pronged transformative educational approach that emphasizes academic excellence, nurturing of talents and character formation.
Our educational philosophy seeks to link our boys to the world by exposing them to both the current and future trends in a wide spectrum of industries. As iron sharpens iron; we sharpen our boys through leadership training, mentorship, technology, research and innovation.
We work to ensure that the boys who come to us at the beginning of their 8.4.4 or CBC course, leave our institution as men of excellence, integrity and purpose, with capacity to be global leaders.
As a premier boys’ school, we have an inclusive education environment and state-of-the-art infrastructure so that our young men feel at home right from the moment they walk through our gate.

Our Curriculum
We operate under the Competency-Based Curriculum (CBC). Students choose between two main career pathways:
STEM Pathway
Social Sciences Pathway
In addition, we continue to admit students under the 8-4-4 system from Form 3 onwards.

Our structured daily timetable ensures a balance between academics, discipline, and co-curricular activities:
Morning Schedule
- 5:00 AM – 6:00 AM: Remedial Lesson 1
- 6:00 AM – 6:30 AM: Breakfast
- 6:30 AM – 7:30 AM: Remedial Lesson 2
- 7:30 AM – 8:00 AM: Assembly, Class Meetings, House Meetings, Family Meetings
- 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM: Regular Lessons (10 periods)
Evening Schedule
- 4:10 PM – 5:00 PM: Games / Mass / Guidance & Counselling / Clubs
- 6:00 PM – 6:30 PM: Supper
- 6:30 PM – 7:30 PM: Remedial Lesson 3
- 7:30 PM – 9:30 PM: Personal Study

St. Maurice Junior School Section serves as the important bridge between Primary and Senior Secondary. We provide a dynamic Competency-Based Curriculum (CBC) environment that nurtures academic, emotional, social, and talent development for every student.
Curriculum Highlights
We follow the full CBC framework. By the end of Junior School, students acquire core competencies including self-efficacy, digital literacy, communication, creativity, critical thinking, problem-solving, learning to learn, and citizenship. They also develop strong values such as respect, responsibility, social justice, unity, integrity, love, patriotism, and peace.
